Josine Van Den Berg
Practice Manager
My name is Josine van den Berg, I have been working as a Practice Manager for the last 4 years and joined AJ Moore recently.
After working on cruise ships and owning my own Beauty Salon I chose a career change and started my journey in dentistry in 2012. I became a trainee dental nurse, qualified in 2014 and progressed to an area support nurse. Over the years I have worked in NHS dentistry, Orthodontics and private dentistry and I have enjoyed all aspects of dentistry.
I have been manager at our sister practice at Peveril Road since 2022. And am extremely pleased to have joined the fantastic team at AJ Moore, I am enjoying getting to know lots of the patients and the very welcoming team. I am looking forward to helping the practice grow and ensure our patients have the best possible experience whilst visiting AJ Moore.
Outside of work I enjoy traveling and trying the local cuisine, socializing with family and friends and walking with our two lovely dogs.
Harlovleen Kaur

Harlovleen enjoys her role as general dentist and clinical practice lead. She has a special interest in orthodontics, fixed or clear retainers, provides dental implants and loves changing her patients smiles with composite bonding. Harlovleen has two grown up children and in her spare time she makes pottery.
Shetal Raithatha

Shetal qualified from Newcastle Dental School in 2002. Prior to joining us in 2010 Shetal furthered her professional experience by working a hospital post in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.
Shetal has also worked for the Community Dental Services providing sedation for special needs and anxious children. Shetal carries out all aspects of routine dentistry. She enjoys helping anxious patients, restoring their confidence and their smiles with her relaxed friendly manner.
In her spare time, Shetal enjoys travelling, playing hockey and spending time with her husband and young boy.
Alicja Lozano Betancourt

Alicja qualified from the Medical University of Lodz, Poland and joined the practice in 2018.
Alicja speaks three languages; Polish, Spanish and English.
Alicja enjoys her role at A J Moore & Associates and is especially good with anxious patients and finds it rewarding putting them at ease.
In her spare time, Alicja enjoys reading crime novels and thrillers.
Nicola Darling

Nicola qualified from University of Wales College of Medicine in July 1996. She has worked in the Nottingham area since she qualified and has been member of the A J Moore team since 2011.
Nicola aims to always provide high quality care for her patients and has a friendly and caring approach.
Hamza Haseeb

Hamza graduated from Liverpool Dental school with honours gaining distinctions in Restorative Dentistry, Children’s Dentistry and Oral Disease. He was also awarded the Malcom Foster medal for Excellence. He has continued learning with numerous courses and is currently undertaking a Masters Degree in Restorative Dentistry at the Eastman Dental Institute University College London.
He is passionate about dental education and enjoys putting patients at ease, taking the time to get to know them. Hamza enjoys all parts of Restorative Dentistry (repairing and replacing teeth) as well as completing smile improvements and teeth straightening through the Invisalign system.
In his spare time he is an avid sports fan, enjoys the outdoors and spending time with friends and family.
Emily Pilcher

Emily qualified from the University of Leeds in 2017 where she remained and completed her training year in Wakefield before relocating to Nottinghamshire in 2018 to be closer to family.
Emily enjoys doing aesthetic work to noticeably change the appearance of a smile and finds it very rewarding to be able to boost the confidence of anxious patients.
Emily is keen on travelling, playing the cello in a local group and spending time with family and friends.

I’m Dr. Kiran Juj, my special interests lie in orthodontics, including Invisalign and fixed braces. I find great joy in transforming smiles and boosting my patients’ confidence. Cosmetic dentistry is another area I’m deeply interested in, as it allows me to combine artistry with science to enhance my patients’ smiles. My name is Melanie. I qualified as a dental surgery assistant in 1982 and I have worked at The Peveril Road Dental Specialists since 1984.
My first few years was as the role of a dental surgery assistant, until I moved into the current role as one of our practice receptionists.
I enjoy working at the practice due to all the many friendly members of staff and the lovely patients who having been coming to our practice for many years. They are like family and I feel we all have a good patient and practice relationship.
I like to continually develop my knowledge and skills by attending or doing online courses.
Outside of work I enjoy meeting up with friends, reading, gardening, holidaying and my biggest passion is football, having a season ticket with Nottingham Forest for many years.
